Microbeads wash down the drain, collecting more pollutants en route, and are NOT filtered in sewage treatment causing them to flow into waterways.
Microbeads are a growing problem with no solution and already account for a high percentage of the plastic contamination in both freshwater and saltwater.New York, Ohio, Illinois, and California have all already taken initiative in considering state-wide bans on the product. We the people, urge you to take action on this issue by creating a country-wide ban on microbeads used for exfoliating personal care products.Thank you.
