Ban policy influencing contributions by NGO's (non-governmental organizations) outside election periods.

Created by R.F. on January 03, 2013

Petition for the Federal Government to put a stop to congressional and senatorial contributions by NGO's (non-governmental organizations) to keep elected officials in the House of Congress and the Senate uninfluenced by corporate, union and wealthy entities.

As seen in the recent so-called "fiscal cliff" bill, there were many exceptions placed in the bill for the sole purpose to benefit corporations and the top 1% of wealthy individuals. From the "active financing" exception which allows a company to not pay ANY income tax on interest income from money lent overseas, to a so-called "pass-through" exemption which allows corporations to make shell companies in tax havens in order to transfer patents there so that any income as result of those patents is not taxed; this influence must end.
