The bipartisanship present in our government is destroying the ability of said government to make effective and timely decisions. There should be no political parties, individuals should run on the merit of their experience and desire to help better the country. Laws should not be passed or not passed based simply on which side proposed them, but should be passed if it is a good law which would help the country.
