Please require all school to stop the practice of making kids throw meals away or deny the meals altogether if the child has no money. For the schools that make the kids throw their lunch away...that is despicable. The schools suffer no loss to let the child eat since the meal is placed in the garbage. We are starting to hear stories about this fairly often nowadays. It has to stop. These are children we are talking about. It is beyond my understanding, how any adult could have the moxie to tell the kid to throw the food away knowing that these kids are hungry. Don't they feel like the tyrant that they are? Do they have a conscious? And what about the principals, superintendents, and school board trustees that say it is ok?
Please Mr. President and and the First Lady...help these kids!
