Ban the practice in the pharmaceutical industry known as "pay to delay" preventing generics from reaching consumers.

Created by J.M. on October 29, 2011

There unconscionable practice by PhARMA is costing the American public and the Federal government billions of dollars in inflated drug prices. Drug companies who's drug patents are close to expiring sue generic drug makers in court to halt the production of these drugs as generics. Instead of fighting in court, generic drug companies settle out of court and agree not to manufacture the generic drugs.

This directly effects Medicare, Medicaid, Champus, the Veterans Administration and all health care consumers.
