Ban the Presidency.

Created by T.E. on March 15, 2016

The Presidency of the United States of America is an office that is increasingly irrelevant and even dangerous to our nation's survival. Few are comfortable with the powers the Executive Branch has amassed over the past decades - in both Democratic and Republican administrations. In addition to this, the process for electing a President has become so corrupt and absurd, only the corrupt and absurd candidates have a chance at succeeding.

Most modern democracies operate under a parliamentary system, with a relatively weakened and appointed executive and the legislative power to hold a vote of no confidence. We should join the ranks of these democracies, ban the Presidency, and replace the position with a Prime Minister.
