Ban the press from releasing the names or photographs of anyone who has killed 5 or more people.

Created by P.A. on April 08, 2013

The press glorifies murderers every day. By constantly saying the name and showing the picture of the murderers, the press creates a pedastal for the killers to stand on. At Sandy Hook, Columbine, and Aurora the killers were all people who felt insignificant and unnoticed. These massacres were their way of letting the world know who they were. And every time the picture of these killers is shown on TV, young people all over the United States who are watching, see that murder can be a way for their voice to finally be heard. I would like to ban the distribution of any names, photographs, or videos of any one, suspect or guilty of killing five or more people, for at least five years after the crime has been commited. The names will remain public record, but the media must be stopped.
