We the people petition the Obama Administration to immediately take action to curb pressure cooker violence. The recent attacks on Boston killed three and wounded over 130, including children. If we can save even one child's life, our efforts against pressure cookers will have been worth it. While many people in America may disagree, the victims of the Boston tragedy deserve a vote!
We the people demand:
1) An immediate ban on private sales of pressure cookers.
2) Mandatory background checks for all pressure cooker purchases.
3) A total ban on all pressure cookers holding more than one gallon (aka high-capacity pressure cookers).
4) A total ban on high-quality variable-setting cookers from Williams Sonoma (aka "assault pressure cookers").
