We, America, have turned over our prison system to corporations in order for them to make a profit. In order for them to make money we must meet a quota. When a quota must be filled with human beings we do that by tightening the laws. We begin by making everything illegal. It is inhumane to decide ahead of time how many people must be imprisoned in order for a corporation to keep its profits aloft. A corporation's duty is to it's shareholders and it's shareholders only. It's one and only duty is to make profits. I challenge President Barack Obama to right this wrong that has crept into our system unbeknownst to most people. For if everyone actually knew what was going on, this would not be happening. Americans would be ashamed if only they knew.
