Many people believe gun control is infringing on our constitutional rights. That may be the case, but any person with common sense knows that guns are a problem, and protecting the lives of our fellow Americans is more important than collecting guns.
If we ban the private sale of firearms, that would mean that anyone who wants to buy a gun must get it from a gun store, get background checked, and thus keeping dangerous weapons away from dangerous people.
I do not believe in getting rid of guns, it is our right as Americans to protect ourselves. but I do believe in taking steps to preventing dangerous people from acquiring weapons that are used to harm fellow Americans.
