Ban the production and use of plastic fast food cups.

The government should ban the production and use of plastic cups found at fast food restaurants such as McDonalds and Burger King in order to protect our environment. Although these cups are recyclable more are thrown in our landfills or roadsides than are sent to a recycling center. Many fast food establishments such as Subway have already phased out plastic cups in order to protect our environment and if other chains are unwilling to do the same they should be forced to by our government.
