The production of Priuses should be stopped because:
Drivers of Priuses are--in general--terrible. 100% of non-Prius drivers can attest to that.
Priuses, because of their popularity, threaten to overwhelm the roads with horrifically ugly vehicles. Their lack of visual appeal is undebatable.
Many ecologists claim that Priuses do not benefit the environment, saying that the damage due to processing a wet-cell battery outweighs the its superior fuel efficiency.
Many buyers whose incentives are economical are deceived by Toyota. Priuses cost 10-15 thousand dollars more than a basic sedan; any rational driver knows that hundreds of gallons of gas can be purchased for 10-15 thousand dollars.
Economically, ecologically, and visually, Priuses threaten to ruin the integrity of the auto industry.
