This petition is to ban protests within 300 feet of any residence, cemetery, funeral home, church, synagogue or similar location from two hours before to two hours after a funeral or burial service.
Hate groups such as The Westboro Baptist Church have made it very difficult for families to mourn their loved ones. Isn't it hard enough losing someone?
Lets give the families who are mourning a chance to say goodbye with dignity and peace.
Please end these peoples ability to hide behind the law.
The supreme court says they have the right to protest, But that doesn't make their protests right. Let's change this.
