Ban public burning of the American flag

As of right now it is legal to go into the streets of American cities and deface , desecrate, and defile the American flag. The flag is a sacred symbol of American heritage, disgracing it in protest shows no progressive argument as the flag doesn't represent a specific party or policy it represents American heritage. You wouldn't agree to execute a baby for the sins of it's parents so why deface the flag for the mistakes of the current leaders. Many soldiers have carried the flag around the globe into battle as there only symbol of what they're fighting for, so how after the battle is won can we allow the very people they died for to destroy the thing they protected with their lives. So I call to action the hearts and will of the American people to save Old Glory and preserve our heritage
