Do assault rifle and high-capacity ammunition clips improve the quality of life for American citizens, or do they pose an unnecessary means of killing people? Adam Lanza murdered almost thirty people using a Bushmaster assault rifle with high-capacity clips (almost one thousand rounds in one clip). A ban on assault rifles in the general public would help prevent mass shootings and save an enormous amount of grief.
