We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Ban public smoking in urban areas (e.g. New York City) due to known dangers of Second Hand Smoking (SHS)

Created by K.D. on October 12, 2016

There is no doubt that Smoking is a public safety hazard. The issue here is Second hand smoke (SHS). Anyone who lives in a Urban setting walks through a cloud of second hand smoke on public streets every single day.

Secondhand smoke (SHS) has the same harmful chemicals that smokers inhale. There’s no safe level of exposure for secondhand smoke (SHS)

Secondhand smoke is known to cause cancer. It has more than 7,000 chemicals, including at least 70 that can cause cancer. SHS causes lung cancer – even in people who have never smoked

There is no second opinion needed on this topic and studies are conclusive and extremely clear about this topic. We the people urge the government to take action.
