Ban Race-Based College Admissions as a violation of title VI of the civil rights act of 1964.

In 2008, Harvard University accepted another freshman class, 21.4% of which were Asian. However, it was admitted that nearly 50% of exceptionally-scoring applicants were Asian. This is just one example of race-based college admissions which have plagued the US. Race-base college admissions discriminate against Asians who consistently need higher SAT and ACT scores than other demographics in order to qualify for top, ivy-league colleges. The actions of these colleges in calculating race in admissions is discriminatory and a violation of Title VI of the civil rights act of 1964, which states, according to the US Justice department, "prohibits discrimination on the basis of race... in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance".
