Racists are not born, they are formed via stereotyping of available information.
To evolve towards Dr. King’s Dream requires calling a white man just a man. A black man just a man.
Ironic, but achieving this dream invites media analysis, meaning it has indeed NOT been achieved because we ARE considering race in the information available.
Laws against hate speech exist, but simply describing a person by skin color is counter to progress toward the Dream.
We cannot infringe upon the rights of free speech beyond criminalizing hate speech, but we can impose broadcast standards.
Please ban the use of racial or color description of people by broadcast or online media entity. In doing so, we are truly considering only the content of our character.
