Ban the release of the app "Peeple"

I came across this article about the new app called "Peeple" where anybody in the world who has your phone number may create a account of you using a profile picture of their choice and giving the app your phone number to be reviewed and criticized on your dating, personality, and professionalism. You may not at all take down the account of you if you wished, and can only argue publicly against negative reviews set against you. When reading this, I first thought how much this infringes on our right as individuals, but also the bullying and slandering this will bring along with it. Please, help me and all the future people who will be degraded on this app stop this app from releasing in November.
