In the past two years, GOP officials have pushed the narrative that trans citizens should not be able to use the public restroom of the sex they identify as. This bigotry-driven lawmaking is done under the excuse of providing other citizens, specifically children, with a "safe bathroom."
While there is no statistical evidence to support the notion that transgender people make your bathrooms dangerous, there is for another group: GOP officials.
You and your children are in far more danger of being molested or assaulted by a GOP official than you are by a trans person. The GOP will even praise molesters openly after their crimes come to light. Therefore, I'm calling on the GOP to do the right thing, and ban all GOP-affiliated officials in government from using public restrooms
