Alcohol is the deadliest drug on the market there are more deaths and addiction associated with this than any other drug. It is not only affecting the user but the people that are forced to be around them. My proposal is follow the cigarette campaign, start by raising the price of alcohol moderately over time to slowly wean people off of the drug. Next, after the price has risen and the sale has dropped make a law that you could only by in moderation. Like a certain size of hard liquor, and you could only by like 3 beers. Yes, they could go from store to store and stack up, but this is an inconvenience, and would wean more people off of this. I would be happy with this state, but to truly cut down on the problem it needs to be outlawed.
