Ban the sale of all candy, sugary snacks and soda from all non food related retail stores.

Created by P.D. on December 11, 2012

Candy and soda should not be available for sale at the checkout counters of every retail store in America. These sugar/fat rich items are contributing to the demise of Americans health, adding to the increase in diabetes and obesity and allowing children to be exposed to too much sugar. Candy, chips, soda, and other items should only be for sale in a food related retail store/supermarket. Retailers are manipulating us by placing candy at the checkout counters. Research has shown that humans subconsciously know that sugar will satisfy hunger and provide a short term energy boost. Americans are often overworked and chronically tired leading them to spend less time eating a balanced meal and instead will grab these candy items to satisfy hunger. We need to keep candy in the candy store.
