According to an article written by MSNBC, alcohol is the cause for 75,000 American deaths each year, making it the third leading cause of death in this country. (http://www.nbcnews.com/id/6089353/ns/health-addictions/t/alcohol-linked-...). The FBI states that murders as a result of firearms steadily declined between 2006 and 2010 (http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2010/crime-in-the-...).
Mr. President, please consider the ban of alcohol. Not only is it much more readily available than guns, but children with fake ID's can also obtain this.
If banning assault weapons is the result of killing the innocent at Sandy Hook - shouldn't alcohol be banned for killing thousands more?
