Ban the Sale and Transport of Pressure Cookers larger than 7 Quarts. Background checks and National Registry.

This petition is being submitted to ensure the safety of innocent Americans by creating a National Registry of those who own pressure cookers, instituting back ground checks required to purchase pressure cookers and an outright ban on pressure cookers capable of holding more than seven quarts. Further, laws should be put into place to require legally obtained pressure cookers to be locked away securely when not in use in the home and transported only in the trunks of cars without liquid contents and dissembled with the lid stored separately in a locked container.
