Ban the sale of PINK SLIME or make them provide lables that identify to consumers that the product contains pink slime.

Pink slime (soylent pink/Lean Beef Trimmings) is a combination of beef scraps, cow connective tissues and other beef trimmings. Everything is ground up & treated with ammonium hydroxide to kill pathogens (e. coli & salmonela) and then its blended with traditional meat products like ground beef and hamburger patties. Some have objected to the consumption of pink slime because it has connective tissues instead of muscle and the connective tissues are not nutritionally equivalent to ground beef. There are safety concerns because its harmful to eat ammonium and the ammonium in the pink slime has the potential to turn into ammonium nitrate (common component in homemade bombs) Now the USDA is buying PINK SLIME for our children to eat. McDonald's and other restaurants have banned the product
