Ban the sale of pressure cookers due to terrorist potential

We the People request that the Obama Administration strongly consider an outright ban on the sale of so-called "pressure cooker" devices. Easy access to these have caused injury and even death for hundreds of Americans at the hands of terrorists. Furthermore, we propose that restrictions on retail sales of such devices are insufficient as such legislation does not ban the private transfer, commonly known as the "garage sale loophole," of these devices. For the safety of the people of these great United States, we simply cannot tolerate the manufacture and ready availability of such destructive devices.
