According to msn.com pressure cooker bombs have been used in countries such as Afghanistan, India and Pakistan for some time. Eight other incidents were listed in an article on their web site (http://news.msn.com/world/pressure-cooker-bombs-used-around-the-world). These items should be banned. You do not need these devices to cook chicken with. They should be left in the hands of professionals who have been trained to use them (KFC). The general public is not intelligent enough to used them properly.
If not a total ban, then purchasers should have to submit to background checks, and register their weapon, I mean cooker, with the federal government. Their should also be a limit on the size of cookers people are able to buy.
Please take this freedom away from law abiding citizens.
