To Ban the sell of fireworks in King County Washington, due to the lack of responsibility of people shooting fireworks.

Created by C.G. on July 11, 2015

King County Fire Departments responded to over 500 fire calls on the 4th of July. That is compared to about 200 calls last year.

From a resident of King county: Firework stand owners put on their best sales pitch to ensure their profits and support of noble charities. All of this lobbying and complaining in the name of tradition, freedom, and patriotism is taking place with little regard to public and property safety. The sales from this should go to the people that it effects.

Fireworks need to be banned for safety of lives and property. There are no regulations in place to prevent many from be able to handle and shoot off explosives into neighbors homes.

Pets, people, property, and lives could be saved if this would be made into law.
