ban shark fin soup in the United States

Created by R.A. on August 09, 2013

Shark finning is the brutal act of taking the sharks fins and tossing the rest of the shark back into the ocean to drown and bleed out. However, dying sharks release chemicals that sends warnings to other sharks to flee the area. Therefore sharks leave their natural habitat and hunt closer to shore. When sharks are close to shore, they mistake humans for food and cause the number of attacks to rise. If we ban shark fin soup, finning will greatly decrease and sharks can leave the shore lines and return back to their natural habitat. Killing sharks is literally killing humans. Save sharks, save humans.
