The slaughter of horses was banned in the U.S. several years ago, but Obama just revoked that ban. I ask for 2 things today: First, please ban the slaughter - the MASSACRE - of horses; and second, do not allow horses to be used for human consumption (who wants to eat horses?!) I imagine that it'll be dogs or cats next!
To me, horses are a gift sent from God. They are smart, playful, protective, loyal, and majestic. They are wonderful pets and companions. Horses do NOT belong in a slaughterhouse, let alone on your dinner plate. Seeing the photos of horses in slaughterhouses is heartbreaking to me, and the thought of this cruelty just crushes me. I know that America is better than this - better than murdering beautiful horses for no good reason!
PLEASE ban the slaughtering of horses
