Ban Statute of Limitations on Every Type of Sexual Assault Case in Every State of the U.S.A. and its Territories.

Victims of sexual assaults don't always have a voice or the courage to come forward against their abusers. Victims may be children at the time of the assaults or may have been threatened by the abusers. There are cases in which the victims are not believed in at the time of the abuse and feel powerless that they can't take action until or unless other victims come forward against the same abuser. In many cases it requires many years of therapy before a victim is even able to speak of the abuse, by that time a statute of limitation protects the abusers against prosecution. By removing statutes of limitations against sexual crimes, more victims will be able to speak up and regain the power taken away by the abusers. Offenders will serve longer sentences and be kept away from other victims.
