Studies that suggest video games develop violent behavior in minors are ridiculous. Children are subjected to violent or suggestive themes everyday. These studies seem to ignore the swarms of violent movies released every week. What about T.V shows? Music? It seems that violence is everywhere, yet these studies target video games.
Video games are a way for children and adults alike to channel their emotions in a non-destructive way. Video games give children insight on what the world is really like.
And, in the end, it's the parents jobs to teach their children right from wrong. If a child sees/commits violence in a video game and thinks it's okay, that child needs attention. A normal, healthy-minded child will know the difference between video games and reality.
