Too many unecessary tragedies are happening in the schools, parents should not feel afraid to send their children to school, and not knowing if he/she will return. Budget cuts should never interfere, with the amount of security and staff memebers for the schools. A 12 year old child died today in Kiley Middle School because he drowned, how do you tell a family "your child past away, during physical education"."Really"? No family should be suffering the loss their child, whom they trusted the school to look out for.In general swimming is a good activity, but if there arent enough lifeguards, chances of more tragedies like these will continue to happen.
