Electronic Cigarette (or 'E-Cig') advertisements need to be banned across all forms of media (television, magazine, radio, internet) and taken out of middle-of-the-mall kiosks.
These products are a risk to smokers and non-smokers alike due to the danger of addiction, nicotine overdose, and exploding units.
They also have an appeal to children and teens because they are electronic items.
The ATF, FCC, and FDA need to come together and close the loopholes associated with these products and their advertising practices. "SMOKE TO LIVE" is one example of a ghastly slogan.
It is appalling to see children at the mall walking past a salesperson smoking these products in an enclosed public place where traditional smoking is not allowed.
The sale is not the issue, it is the advertising.
