Ban Topix.com. Please stop these irresponsible people, who have allowed unregistered users to slander people.

This petition seeks the banning of the website www.topix.com. This company has done untold damages to the many communities it has affected. By allowing unregistered users to post slanderous/false/derogatory statements it has created unease in smaller communities, where gossip is the currency of choice. Many cases exist where the conversations started have driven people to leave their homes or even driven them to suicide. There are many websites similar in practice, but this is one where there is no accountability. This irresponsible practice should be adjusted, if not outright banned, before it infects and causes anymore damage than it has already done. We need to send a clear message to cyber-bullying by striking down on the tier one offenders that exists: Topix.com
