Ban the use of armed drones in warfare.

Created by A.G. on January 07, 2013

The American people and the world demand that the use of armed drones in military efforts be banned. These drones kill more civilians than they do legitimate targets. Statistics say that for every terrorist killed by drone strikes, forty-nine innocent civilians are killed as well (Daily Mail). Drone strikes have sadly increased over the course of the Obama Administration, with less than 13% of all drone strikes killing a militant leader (CNN). The United Nations has also criticised the American military's use of drone strikes in warfare and is to investigate this year (The Guardian). The United States should be taking an interest in human rights in war torn countries such as Pakistan, where there have been 345 drone strikes in the past eight years.
