Bees are essential to flowering plants. Giant corporations have introduced pesticides which destroy bee populations. Compounds called neonicotinoids -- forms of nicotine -- are especially deadly.
We petition the President of the United States to issue an executive order banning the use of all bee-killing pesticides by all federal agencies and on all federal property. This includes everything from the White House rose garden to national parks and forests to embassies and military installations overseas.
