Ban the use of dangerous pesticides and promote the research and understanding of our nations bees.

Created by L.S. on July 06, 2013

Bee populations are dwindling drastically. The use of harmful pesticides are causing whole colonies to collapse, as evident in the 25,000 bees found dead in Oregon recently. These chemicals are also leeching into our soil and effecting the health of animals and humans alike. Pesticides have been linked to certain cancers, neurological disorders, and birth defects.
Bees provide us with more than just a sweetener.
Honey has been proven to kill bacteria, treat wounds, clear up allergies, and ease symptoms of common colds. And let's not forget, bees pollinate.

The European Union has already banned these pesticides. Let us as Americans not fall behind, but stand up for progress.
