Dihydrogen monoxide is a corrosive chemical compound that poses a threat to Americans and the environment. It is used in the manufacture of plastics and genetic modification companies like Monsanto. It is routinely dumped into our nation's rivers, lakes, and oceans. According to the WHO, more that 388,000 deaths per year are caused by contact with dihydrogen monoxide, and the CDC determined that it caused one death every 10 minutes in the US in 2007. In fact, we have been exposed to it so much that we have become dependent on it; we die if we come in contact with too little or too much of it.
However, neither Congress nor the President Obama has taken any stance on banning this compound. Please sign the petition to force the government to take steps towards banning this chemical.
