Full Body Scanners, called Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) full body scanners by TSA, have very serious health issues which are unresolved by TSA, despite their protestations that the machines are absolutely safe for passengers.
Scientists at prestigious universities, such as Dr. Michael Love, of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine have warned statistically some passengers will get skin cancer from x-ray scanners.
Dr. Boian Alexandrov at the Los Alamos National Laboratory showed terahertz waves, the same produced in MMW scanners, could affect human DNA.
John Pistole, TSA administrator has admitted the scanners can't detect explosive secreted in body cavities.
These scanners can harm humans, can't detect explosives hidden in obvious in-body locations, and should be banned.
