Ban the use of gas chambers for killing shelter companion animals.

Created by M.F. on May 08, 2012

Euthanasia is Greek for "good death." Carbon monoxide gas chambers animals slowly suffocate to death. Animals cry, bite one another, and bleed out of their cavities, all while fully conscious. Although some states have already banned the use of these cruel chambers, this archaic practice should be banned on a national level. This can take up to almost an hour. Why do it this way when It is inhumane, more expensive than Pentobarbital injection and most importantly, dangerous to shelter workers. These wonderful innocent creatures suffer needlessly. It is bad enough they are going to die,the least we can do is let them go in peace.
