Ban the use of gasoline leaf blowers

Created by R.T. on February 26, 2016

I say we ban the use of these gas operated leaf blowers in all applications (residential and commercial).
We believe that they serve no useful purpose other than spreading around the dust, leaves, and other allergens that can be harmful to people who are extremely sensitive to such allergens. The idea of the device is also extremely archaic. It is just using the exhaust of a non-regulated combustion engine that spews the uncleaned exhaust into the atmosphere. In a time where we are striving our hardest to clean the atmosphere I believe these are not a help in that progression. They are also loud, abnoxious, and, for car enthusiasts, they get our freshly cleaned cars extremely dirty. there has to be a better way to clean after landscaping then to just "sweep it under the rug" Thank you.
