Ban the use of harmful pesticides that are decimating our bee population.

Created by V.B. on May 28, 2013

There is undisputed evidence that a class of neuro-active insecticides known as neonicotinoids, are destroying our planet's bee population (as much as 90% in some places) and which, if left unchecked, could destroy our world’s ability to grow enough food to feed its population.

We call for the Obama administration for an executive order to ban the use of neonicotinoid pesticides and protect our bees.

These harmful pesticides are also poisoning other animals and the toxic effects are bound to affect human beings.

According to a study performed by the American Bird Conservancy, neonicotinoids are lethal to birds and to the aquatic systems on which they depend: A single corn kernel coated with a neonicotinoid can kill a songbird.

Would you help protect the health of our children?
