More than 85 percent of Earth’s plant species — many of which compose some of the most nutritional parts of our diet — require pollinators to exist. Our bee population has been dieing off and not just ours, but also all over the world. Scientists have linked the bee death crisis to a group of pesticides called neonicotinoid pesticides. The united kingdom has already banned the use of neonicotinoid pesticides as they have recognized it's harm.
The bees provide our food, and what our live stock eats. If this issue is not dealt with, then I forsee increase in food prices and food shortages which is certainly not what our country needs. This also hurts our economy for crops that are exported.
