Ban the use of"Live Bait" to kill Wolves legislation in Idaho. Over 484 wolves were slaughter there since last year.

Created by J.K. on February 22, 2012

Idaho currently has pending legislation to use "live bait" to lure in wolves. Over 484 wolves have been slaughtered since last year when Wolves in the Rockies were taken off the Endangered Species list. Wolves and other top predators strengthen elk and deer herds and allow riparian systems to recover. The livestock and sheep ranchers want to rid all wolves. Less than 1% of livestock depredation in the Northern Rockies is due to wolves. Nor that domestic sheep herds are wiping out wild Bighorn sheep. Protections are already in place for Livestock owners experiencing depredation problems. This bill is cruel and barbaric.
