Ban the use of semi-automatic weapons by everyone except law enforcement.

With the occurrence of mass shootings on the rise, there comes a time when a community must come together and realize when something doesn’t work. After the 16th mass shooting in the U.S. in 2012, the time is now. A semi-automatic weapon is any weapon that can fire a bullet with a pull of the trigger without reloading. We have plenty of guns that don’t fall under this category such as; bolt action, lever action rifles, and single shot pistols. It’s time for sensible legislation. This petition was written by a former member of the U.S. armed forces.
