The Obama Administration has lifted a ban that has been in place since the 80's protecting the east coast from drilling for oil. He has now approved use of sonic cannons that blast EXTREMELY loud sound waves into the ocean which shatter marine life ear bones and cause trauma. This causes them to essentially be deaf and sentenances them to death.
