OccupyOakland had many kittens. Some belonged to the occupiers, who brought them along because the kittens couldn't feed themselves at home. Some were homeless kittens, who were kicked out of their homes by banks because their owners were unable to pay mortgages.
On October 25, the police brutally evicted the poor kittens. The tear gas and flash bangs that they used could have caused great injury to the kittens, while the rubber bullets could have easily killed them. In addition, the police used these brutal tactics to force kitten from loving owner.
Please, President Obama, kittens everywhere need your help. Preserve democracy by stopping the savage use of tear gas and rubber bullets.
