Ban the use of Tear Gas on Civilians by the Police!

Created by S.A. on August 15, 2014

Tear gas is banned from use in warfare under the Geneva Convention, yet we allow the nerve agent to be used on innocent civilians. We need to end this egregious practice.

Tear gas has been shown to cause irreversible nerve damage and medical complications for those who have have asthma. It can also lead to miscarriages and birth defects in woman who are pregnant.

I implore the government to pass a law banning the use of tear gas by the police on civilians across the United States.

Thank you.
