We the people petition to ban the use of wild animals in circus shows.
Animals are being treated poorly and performing out of fear of being beaten.
Research has shown that circus elephants in particular are dying of diseases such as herpes and turbucolisis. These diseases are only happening because they are in confinement.
Animals are often left in tight and cramped quarters for days on end with no time spent out in the open, enjoying nature as wild animals should.
Animals spend most of their lives in cages and/or chains until they are too old to perform.
Take a stand against unnecessary animal cruelty.
